Natalie (ナタリー, Natarī, Natalie[1]) is a character in Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon.

Personality[]
As the town's doctor, Natalie has a passion for science and reason. She does her best to teach common sense and caution to Alvarna's young folk. This pragmatism puts her in conflict with her daughter Alicia's whimsical fortune-telling. Despite this strictness, she has a somewhat raucous personality in her off-time, and invites Douglas and Gordon to her house on Festival days so they can drink together.
Appearance[]
Natalie has pink hair, in a more reddish shade than her daughter's. She has green eyes and wears wire-rimmed glasses. Despite being a doctor, her outfit is modeled after 1940's nurse uniforms, with a frilled cap and short cloak. She wears a white lab coat beneath the cloak, with a bunch of lace at her throat, and a blue and white tunic beneath that.
Relationships[]
Natalie the mother of Ray and Alicia. She is also Dorothy's mentor, allowing Dorothy to shadow her in the clinic during her nursing training. As the town doctor, she has a trusting relationship with most of the villagers, though she does not get along with her daughter.
She is especially good friends with Douglas and Gordon. When she finds out that Douglas and Mana tricked Kyle into working on their farm, she chuckles and asks him to forgive them, saying they really are good people, if a bit mischievous.
Story[]
Natalie has a background role in the story. She welcomes Kyle to Alvarna when he moves in, and asks him to forgive Douglas and Mana for tricking him, assuring him that they aren't mean people by nature. In the beginning, she has an antagonistic relationship with Alicia, disappointed that her daughter has chosen such an unscientific profession. However, if Kyle romances Alicia, Natalie sees the joy that Alicia's chosen lifestyle brings her, and gives her blessing to their life together.
Second Generation[]
In the second generation, she is the grandmother of Ray's children, Sera and Serena. She allows her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughters to all live in the upper floor of the clinic with her. Additionally, she gives over operation of the clinic to her son, retiring to relax and help take care of her grandchildren.
Gifts[]
Natalie has relatively easy tastes in gifts, since Tomatoes are an ever-bearing, moderately fast crop that grow year-round on Blessia Island.

Schedule[]
Natalie can be found in the clinic on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On Festivals, she's still in the clinic, but won't offer the clinic's services, since she's busy visiting with her friends.
