Karina (カリン, Karin) is a bachelorette in Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon.

Personality
Karina is a lazy and apathetic girl who is constantly being scolded by her mother, Hazel. Karina wishes to leave town and travel to the city, and likes gems and jewelry made from gems. The only gem she doesn't like is a Diamond, which is her mother's favorite gem.
Appearance
Interestingly enough, Karina's clothes are blue and her eyes are green, while Hazel's clothes are green and her eyes are blue.
Their fond of gemstones also contrast one another, as Karina hates Diamonds while Hazel likes them.
Story
When talked to on her shift in the grocery store when Sofia is there, her dialogue will change to:
- If Karina and Sofia's affections are low: Karina asks Sofia how she feels about Micah. Sofia will reply with a compliment that obviously means she dislikes him, Karina will find this boring anyway.
- If Karina and Sofia's affections are high: Karina again asks Sofia how she feels about Micah. Sofia blushes and hesitates, leaving Karina amused that she has no idea what to say. Finally, Sofia stammers she "hates him", which means she likes him. Karina goes silent and blushes while saying "That's nothing exciting".

Bring me... (持ってき……) is Karina's first request. Micah goes to Diamond General Store and finds Karina sleeping. After waking her up, she asks Micah to get a pendant from Sofia. After getting the File:RF3Strange Pendant.png Strange Pendant, he returns to find her asleep.

- Objective: Karina wants to sell some unusual products at the store. Take her to the Diamond General Store to get permission. Pick up a Spare Scrap Metal from Raven for Karina to sell. Next, promote the shop's new line by talking to people until Micah decides he's done enough. Return to the store during the shop's hours to see how Karina's venture turned out.

Micah enters the Diamond General Store to find Karina asleep. He wakes her and she asks that he retrieve a pendent from Sofia.
Talking to Sofia, she gives him a Strange Pendant and asks in opposite speak that they be careful with it.
Returning, she is again asleep and Micah wakes her. He tells her what she said and Karina effortlessly understands what she meant. She rewards him with 10 gold.
When he goes outside, Hazel asks what he's doing and accuses her of sleeping again on the job. He covers for her and Hazel thanks him for helping. When she goes inside, she finds Karina asleep and scolds her.

- Objective: Tell Karina about Privera Forest. If Micah tells her that Oranges or Grapes grow there, she'll ask him to bring her one. If he tells her that he likes to fish there, she'll ask him for a Masu Trout, and if he tells her that he likes to eat stuff off the ground, she'll request a Mushroom.
- Reward: Depending on your responses, you can receive a Charm, a Chocolate, Turnip Seeds x9, or possibly nothing.
Relationships
Karina was originally an active girl who always thought about her mom. Her mom was always busy with the store and had little time to spend with Karina. To avoid bothering her mom, Karina chose to keep quiet and tried to stay away from the shop.
