Rusk (ラスク, Rasuku, Rusk[1]) is a character in Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon.

Personality[]
Rusk works at the town's diner as a pastry chef and is a picky boy who hates vegetables. Micah tries to change this throughout the game by mentioning the sweeter tastes, health benefits and little historical facts of various veggies. On the other hand, he loves sweets just like his father, and his appetite for desserts matches his sister Collette's appetite for all foods.
Appearance[]
Rusk has curly blonde hair tied in a loose ponytail over his shoulder by a reddish ribbon and topped by a turquoise beret, which is adorned with white feathers attached to yellow jewelries. He has gentle, light blue eyes.

Rusk is Blaise's son and Collette's younger brother.

Relationships[]
Rusk loves his father, Blaise, and seems to have inherited his sweet tooth. Rusk looks up to his father as a mentor, so he himself is preparing for the day he receives his approval as a pastry chef. He does wish Blaise would bake more sweets, though.
He finds his older sister, Collette, somewhat repulsive due to her large appetite, calling her a pig. Despite his attitude towards her, though, he worries about her whenever she's not feeling well physically or emotionally, and he's more or less willing to do what he can if it means it'll cheer her up. They constantly bicker due to their vastly different tastes, but they care a lot about each other (though they won't ever admit it).
Rusk gets along with most of the young men in town, being somewhat of a little brother to them. He asks Carlos for fishing tips during festivals and rolls with Gaius's laidback attitude.

By visualizing the nearest enemies, he uses startle-style magic to attack, but he doesn't really charge at the enemies using weapons so much.

- Note that Rusk is depicted as a fickle and picky person. He is also very fickle or hesitant to attack.

- Rusk makes a reference to Popeye The Sailor in one of his random dialogues. He says "I hate spinach. That's sailor food, and I'm no sailor."
- Due to his sister's short height, he is sometimes mistaken for her older brother.
- In Rune Factory 4, Raven mentions that Rusk is the baker in their town's restaurant, suggesting that he and his sister have inherited the diner from their father.
