Electra and Aden will reappear in Electra's bedroom.

	Do forgive me. You came to see me, and I can't even make you a cup of tea.
	Oh no, don't worry about it.
	I actually have something to show you two. Ta-da!
	What is it?
	It's the application to take the entrance exam for the school in the city.
	So you're going to the school?
	Hee-hee. I haven't decided yet. First I have to pass the exam.
	What's all this? The school in the city?
	Mother...
	I haven't heard anything about this!
	No, because I haven't told you about it.
	Why would you want to go there? Do you hate living with me that much?
	Of course not. I just want to follow in your...
	Then what's that piece of paper you've got there? Don't lie to me! You're trying to leave!
	Mother...is that really what you think of me? Maybe I should leave this island! Why stay here if you have so little faith in me?

Electra runs out the door in tears.

	Oh, Aden, Sonja. I didn't know you were here. I'm sorry my daughter and I caused such a scene.
	Ma'am, I think you were in the wrong there.
	That's right! Electra wants to go to school, but not because she wants to leave the island. She wants to follow in your footsteps and be the mayor of this town someday!
	Oh, she does? Oh no. I got it all wrong. So much has happened since we lost our money. So many people have left me. I guess it's made me paranoid. I thought Electra was trying to leave because she was ashamed of our poverty. I should have had more faith in her, and I should have listened. It pains me to ask, but could you go find Electra? I owe her my utmost apologies.
	Of course we will!

Aden goes to the Church Plaza to find Electra.

	So here you are!
	Aden... What should I do?
	Your mother wants to apologize.
	But... That's... -looks at a man walking off of the docks-
	Do you know him?
	No, but he comes to the house a lot. I think he must be here to collect on our debts. Aden, Sonja! I've made up my mind! I'm going to go back home and have a long talk with my mother. I'm torn. I want to go to the city to study, but I'm worried about how my mother will get along without me. She may have overreacted a bit, but I do see why she'd be alarmed about me leaving. Her and I need to talk this out.

Electra runs off back to the mansion.

	It looks like Electra's feeling a little calmer now.
	Yeah. Hopefully she can work this out with her mom.

Aden and Electra are having tea in Electra's bedroom.

	I'm sorry my mother and I caused such a scene.
	Hee hee. That's just what your mother said.
	Oh, did she? Like mother, like daughter, I suppose! My mother and I had a long talk. I think we've got everything worked out.
	So you're going to be able to go to school in the city?
	No, I'm not going to the school. I'm going to study here on the island.
	What!? Really? But you worked so hard!
	But my mother needs me here. I can't abandon her. Besides, there's plenty more I can spend about being mayor by spending time with my mother.
	You're sure you're okay with that?
	Yes, of course. This really is the best solution. And I must thank you for helping my mother and I settle this argument. Thank you both so much!
